MTME October Release: Ribbon of Awareness

It is Release time again over at My Time Made Easy and what better way to introduce some of the new products being released with Lauren's new Ribbon of Support collection.

I'm sure everyone has someone that has been touched by cancer in some way or another.  My father had colon cancer and my mother had ovarian cancer.  They have both survived it and in honor of my mother I made my design teal representing the color ribbon that represents ovarian cancer.
Isn't this the most precious templates you have ever seen?  It is a pretty nice size box.  It has either an oval or heart window.
I tried to use paper as close to teal as I could get.  I put together a felt flower with some acrylic wheat sprays that I colored with Copics markers.
The label is from the new Holiday Label collection that is in the release and the Be Supportive stamp set.  I absolutely love all the stamps that are in this set!
I took this closeup to show you the new paper that is being released this month in the Ribbon of Support package.  In the package, the word "Cancer" is colored pink.  I just changed it to teal in Photoshop...easy peasy!
I truly enjoyed making this project.  It means so much to me to give my mom this special box meant just for her.  She is the world to me and I can't even imagine life without her...I love you mom!

Please everyone, stop by MTME and check out the new products.  You're going to really enjoy what Lauren has in store for you.  Also, check out the teamies.  You know they are gonna have great projects for you.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Time Made Easy Preview -- Gifted

Wow!  Can you believe it's that time again?!  Another month gone by, which means Christmas is right around the corner.

My peek project for you today is the template called Gifted.  I think that pretty much says it all, don't you?
Don't you love the window?  I made this for my supervisor at work for her birthday.  She loves anything with roses, so I added plenty of those.
The paper I used is from the new Homemade Holidays paper pack.  There are so many beautiful papers in this pack.  I know you will love them.  The box closes at the top with the bow...too sweet.
The label I made is from the new Homemade Holidays Label cut file and the new stamp sets Homemade Holidays Labels and Sentimentally Yours.  There are so many different stamps in these sets, I think you will really enjoy all of them.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a peak at the new release.  Please stop by the other team members to see what they have for you...hint...they are making different templates!

Cutting Cafe: Welcome Fall

Happy Day, everyone!  This is the best time of the year.  I just love the Fall...then Halloween...Thanksgiving...Christmas.   It is a paper crafter's dream, right?!
My card today is using the Welcome Fall stamp kit from The Cutting Cafe.  There are so many stamps to choose from.  First I used the Pumpkins for Sale design and painted them with glitter paint and cut them out.
Next I used the One Fall Day stamp for the background.  I printed some digital paper and then colored the stamp and printed it on my digital paper.  You can see the pumpkins peeking out the bottom.
I used my Spellbinders Fancy Tags die to cut out the Happy Harvest stamp and colored it with some Wild Honey distress ink.
And voila...there you have a Fall card.  There are so many cute stamps in this set, it will keep you busy to make lots of goodies.  I have another one in store for you that I will post tomorrow...love it!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Please stop by The Cutting Cafe blog for more weekly inspiration!

The Cutting Cafe -- Google Eyes Background

Hey, all!  I am back with a post for the Cutting Cafe...love this weeks' assignment.  We had several choices to work with.  I chose the Google Eyes Background set.
Don't you love all those eyeballs?!  The set comes with several different sizes in both black and white backgrounds.
I used the sentiment stamps from this set for the "I See You" banner...tied a little twine around the center and decorated the eyes with some Stickles and there you have it.
I can think of so many ways to use this set.  If I had some dimensional google eyes, I would have pasted them in the center.  I just didn't have time to get some, but will try that next.

I hope you enjoyed this card, and please stop by The Cutting Cafe blog to get some more inspiration from the other team members.
I will "SEE" you next time!!!

MTME & Paper Sweeties 9/11 WE REMEMBER

Hello, everyone.  Today I have something very special for you!
This is going to be a long post, so please grab a cup of coffee and join with me in remembrance:

9/11
Today is a day of remembrance, and a time to thank all of those who have served our country. Past and present, and future, the word thank you doesn't seem to be enough. Many people have given so much of themselves, to work tirelessly to preserve our freedom and protect our country. Saying thank you doesn't seem to be enough.
Today on 9/11 we take a moment to remember those at the World Trade Center NY in 2001, who lost their lives that day, and the families they left behind. We take another moment to honor all of the individuals who helped that day, and who are, or who have served our country. Today we remember.
In honor of all these individuals and their families My Time Made Easy ™ LLC and Paper Sweeties has organized a Blog Hop with *NEW* products & projects to inspire you to create gifts for our Troops, or that special someone!
Please see what all the following designers have made using the *NEW* products:

Additional designers:
-----------------------------------------------
Now you are probably excited to see what was released in honor of this special occasion!
Oh, my goodness, isn't this the cutest?!   The tanks are designed by Lauren Meader.  The green and brown camo paper is being released today.  I just changed the colors in Photoshop to get the pink.  Didn't that turn out great?!
On this card is Jake (will release Sept. 15) and Abigail from Paper Sweeties designed by Debbie Marcinkiewicz.

*NEW* at My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is an amazing package collection called
Made in the USA Package $10
As mentioned above, this collection was created in honor of those who have, or who are currently serving our country! This package includes everything you need to create your own amazing gift package! Contents in this collection are the Tough Tank Template, a sheet of Camouflage Digital Paper, and an additional three sheets of patterned paper in red polka dots, yellow stars, and blue stripes, as well as a Set of 31 Digital Images called Made in the USA.
About: Made in the USA Digital Stamp Set: includes a Military Forces tag that can be customized, a saluting soldier silhouette, a Dog Tag, circle flag tag, alphabet for you to create your own tag, as well as a Made in the U.S.A. sentiment.
Tough Tank Pretty Packaging Template
Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC
Completed Project Size:
4 3/4 Inches Tall
6 1/2 Inches Wide
7 1/2 Inches Long
A tank just right for any guy
So I just had to make a tank for a girl like me!
This was designed at the request of, and in the honor of my brother Craig, who served many years in the U.S. Army! He wanted a realistic version of the "real deal" to honor his time spent serving our country! Of course I was up for the challenge, as I think it is an excellent way to honor our troops.
Note: The top of the tank rotates 360 degrees, and comes off the tank, so you can package all sorts of gift items inside the tank.
Now you too can easily re-create this Tough Tank to create your own customized gift package. The perfect container to package up gifts for any of our Troops, maybe for sending a special care package, a great gift option for someone who served, or is serving in the military, or maybe that special child in your life who enjoys playing with Army men, and things of similar nature. Makes an excellent party favor or centerpiece too!
*NEW* at Paper Sweeties in September and available for a ‘special pre-release’ on 9/11 is an adorable boy doll stamp named ‘Jake’! Jake measures approximately 3 ½” tall and is the perfect companion for the Sweeties girl stamps – Abigail, Emma and Sophie! Jake has several outfits available this month – one of which is the cutest soldier ‘dress’ uniform complete with a medal of honor, hat and six heartfelt sentiments! Jake was designed at the request of a good friend who is very involved with the Operation Write Home organization because she has a brother serving overseas in the armed forces! Each Sweeties stamp set retails for $10.
I am telling you right now next payday I am picking me up some of Debbie's great stamp sets...way too cute!  Also, in the background are the papers and stamp set released from MTME.  I just colored the emblem in Photoshop.

I know this was a really long post, but thank you so much for stopping by.  At the end of the week I should have posted a video tutorial for the tank.

MTME -- September Release

Yay!  It is finally here, our September release over at My Time Made Easy.  You know, just when you think the designs can't get any better, look out!
This is the new Apothecary jar template that I made into a sweets jar for nice yummy Halloween treats.
I used the Hauntingly Halloween papers along with the digital stamps and cut file that match this set of papers...way too fun!  I love the background words.
The top is decorated with some homemade ribbon and lace with a little bow on top.  I really would love a big spider or bat on top, but I didn't have those items with me, and I am out of town right now.
There are so many things you can do with the sets that were released this month.  I am looking forward to making quite a few of these up for Christmas.  I will post them when I get them finished.

Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure to see what everybody else came up with on the team.  Have a fantastic Labor Day!!!
