Cutting Cafe Inspiration Post

Tomorrow is Halloween!  How exciting is that?!  My daughter is so excited to get all dressed up.  She wanted to be a vampire so bad, but we go to our church for Halloween for a carnival and trick-or-treating and they don't allow any monster costumes, so she decided to be a Crayon...yep, that's what I said.  As soon as she gets dressed up, I will post a picture of her.

So on to my post of my project for you today.  I used the Halloween Time stamp set from The Cutting Cafe.
Nice and creepy, huh?!  I printed out the bats and then put them on sticky paper and added a little fine glitter that I burnished and then colored with my new Spectrum Noir pens.
Same with this "I'm Batty For You".  I just added a little distress ink on the edges.  There's also a little bling on the tree branches...you know I can't resist that.
Here is a little closer shot of the bat.  The trees are also colored with the Spectrum Noir pens.
And there you have my project for this week for the Cutting Cafe.  Please stop by their blog for some more inspiration projects.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic and safe Halloween, everyone!

My Time Made Easy -- Crazy For Candy

I am so excited about this month's release at My Time Made Easy.  It is right up my alley.  I am a supreme animal lover, so as you see our peeks, you will know why I have had so much fun with this release!
Isn't this the sweetest little puppy?!  This is the new template called Crazy For Candy.
I
I used a Kraft cardstock for the body and Mulberry paper for the head and legs.
Look at that face!  I used two different colors mulberry paper, one for the face and one for the ears.  This template comes with a few different designs, a cat face, dog face and generic design.
I had so much fun with this and know you will too.  I have made another one that is super duper cute that I will show you on release day, so make sure you check back on the 1st!

Please stop by the other girls to see what they came up with.  You are sure to enjoy!

On a side note, I hope all of you that are located on the East Coast stay safe and my thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Cutting Cafe -- Tea Bag Holder

Hello, all!  I just got back from the Scrapbook Expo in Ontario, California...sooo much fun!  I am going to do a separate post showing some of the projects I made in classes there and all of the goodies I got, but I will do that toward the end of the week.

For now, I have the cutest little tea bag holder from The Cutting Cafe for this week's inspiration post.  I have fallen in love with it.
Isn't this the sweetest?!  I put together some Prima petals for the flower with a brad in the center.  I cut out a little tag with some baby pearls on the bottom.
I wrapped a ribbon around the packet and tied a bow to keep it closed.  The sentiment is from the Tea Bag sentiment stamp that comes with the set...so sweet!
And here is a peek at the inside.  It contains two tea bags of TAZO tea.  Super easy peasy to put together.
What a sweet little gift for someone special!  I think I will save this for a rainy day when I can pull it out and give it to a friend in need!

Thank you so much for stopping by and having a peek.  Please stop by the Cutting Cafe blog to see what other inspiring ideas the other teamies came up with!

Cutting Cafe Breast Cancer Month

Well, I am back!  I'm so sorry it took me so long to post.  My computer completely crashed and I have been dealing with getting a new one and then transferring my data off the hard drive because goodness knows, I didn't back everything up.  Needless to say, I have a new backup drive ready and waiting!

So enough of that.  Here is my card that I made for Cutting Cafe's Inspiration post this week.  I love the designs she gave us to work with.
Oh, my gosh, isn't that owl adorable?!  I changed the colors to gray and pink in Photoshop and added some buttons for the eyes and cut out an extra heart that I attached with dimensionals with a little glass glitter trim.
Added a couple rhinestones to the "Hooters" and pearl stickles to the ribbon.  The owl is from the Breast Cancer T-shirt printable set.
Added a little glitter mesh bling that I cut and glued to the outside of the card.
And there you have it, a great card for breast cancer awareness.  This little cutie I am sending to my cousin who is a survivor!

I hope you enjoyed this post and please visit Cutting Cafe's blog so you can see what the other girls came up with.

See you all next time!
