I recently visited the downtown LA Garment and Textile District. I, of course, had a blast shopping...with one twist. If you watch videos on YouTube, you must know Fi from Jennings644. She lives in the UK and can't get all of the things we have here, especially at the prices we have. She recently contacted me and asked if I would shop for her. I was a little worried at first, but I said okay. Since then, I have made a couple of videos showing the yummy stuff I got for both her and myself.
This video shows what I picked up for her.
If you look up her YouTube channel, she also shows a video of when she received it...I absolutely love her accent.
The next video is what I got for myself.
I will be listing several of these items on my Etsy shop this weekend. I hope you enjoy these videos and just let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by. See you next time!
Hi, everyone! I am back with my new obsession...yes, the Filofax! I think I spend more time decorating and organizing...and, of course, buying supplies for my Filofax than I have crafting. What's wrong with me?! Well, I will tell you there is something very therapeutic about organizing my life. I haven't taken a lot of pictures, but I did make a video showing my new Filofax and how I set it up.
I just like the feel of it and looking at the pretty pages...weird, I know! I blame this all on Cara over at AKCaraboo, that is her YouTube channel. I love her videos, and then I noticed she had a Filofax...I think the saying is "Monkey See, Monkey Do." Yep, had to get one.......did I forget to mention shopping for supplies? This is my first Filofax haul video, but I have a couple more to tape...yeah, I'm addicted.
So I will leave you all to hopefully enjoy my videos of my new addiction...maybe a few of you will get bit by the Filofax bug too! See ya later!
Hi, everyone! I am here to share with you some fantastic news! My Time Made Easy is being considered to be offered on the shelves of Walmart...isn't that fantastic?!
Okay, I know, it seems like forever since I posted last. I have been so swamped at work that I haven't had any time for the fun stuff. Although, I was able to fit in my vacation last week...boy did I need that.
Anyway, my project for the day is the new Happy Hallows template that is being released this month over at MTME. It is truly one of the easiest and cutest little templates to make.
I used the So Fortunate acrylic stamp set for the pattern on the template. I then colored it in with my Copics markers.
I just love the Asian feel to these stamps.
The stamp above the flower branch is the word for happiness. I love that!
Please stop by My Time Made Easy to check out all the new templates that are being released. They are absolutely stunning. The team members also have some designs for you, so if you can, please stop by their blogs to give them some love!
On a side note, I don't know if you have heard or not, but Lauren at MTME has been asked to submit her products on a video for Walmart...is that not the best?! Please watch the video and give your likes and comments in support of her. I know she would really appreciate it!
Hi, everyone! I have so missed posting here. I have been so swamped at work that every night and weekend has been spent working...which, of course, means no crafting. I have so many projects in mind that I want to do that it is just killing me that I have to put them on the back burner...so with that said, I did find some time for this month's release, and you are going to love it!
My project I am previewing with you today is called "In-Dispensable." Don't you love that name? I have to say it was very fun and easy to make, but so many ways to use it. I love these gift box templates that have so much room in them, don't you?!
I used the new digital paper pack that is being released this month. It is called Petal Prints...I am in love with it. I can't wait to make a card set with these beautiful papers. I embossed a piece of vellum for the center using the Take Time for Petal Perfection acrylic stamp set.
As you can see, there is a lot of room inside...love it!
I just love these beautiful colors together. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peak and please check out what everyone else has to offer. I know you'll love it. Don't forget tomorrow will be release day...yay!
Oh, my gosh, where did the month go?! I had such good intentions and I have a million projects and videos lined up, but haven't had a chance to upload them. June and July are going to be really busy months for my blog...I hope...at least that's my plan!
Okay, so here is the big reveal! Love this month! I don't have a video on this project, but it is SUPER easy to make. As a matter of fact, I made this for my daughter's teacher for her end-of-the-year gift and it went together like a charm.
Don't you love these colors? I used the new Tapered Off template. It is so roomy and you can stuff it with tons of stuff...love that!
This little card I made out of a paperbag that I folded up and used the front pocket for a gift card and the tag that pulls out, I am going to write a little something for the teacher.
Had to layer a little felt flower for the top, lined the lid with a bit of lace and bling.
And you've got to love MTME stamp sets and labels. This is the label from the Hauntingly Homemade Labels cut file and layered it. I stamped the images on my tag with the Singing Silhouette acrylic stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek and I will be back tomorrow with a release project. Please visit the other team members to see their designs.
Well, just when you think you've seen it all, Heather was the winner of my random draw on the Sneak Peak this month, but she informed me she won from another blog and wanted to share with you guys...how sweet is that?!
So with that generosity, I picked from the hat again and...drum roll, please...the new winner is
"It's looking good . Looks like a barbeque grill to me . Bet it's fab. Can't wait to see it ."
Craftygranny, if you can please contact me at Whimsicalpaper1@yahoo.com, I will send you your code for your free template! Congratulations, and thanks again everyone for playing along!
Look
at that adorable burner! (Never, ever thought I would say that
phrase.)This grill template is going to be too cute! And it looks like
paper with screws (?) on it. Perfect for Father's Day
You guys are so clever! Wow, you impressed me...and here it is!
You guessed it, it's a barbie grill! Isn't Lauren the most clever girl in the land?!
I loved making this template. It was super fun...and, yes, easy! This template is called "Great Grillin'" and I can't wait to give this to my dad.
Look at the burners on the side...so stinkin cute! So if you want to see how to make it, yes, I did make a video tutorial for you. I have to say it was very easy to put together, and it has so many possibilities.
Please stop by the other teamies to check out what they came up with. It is sure to wow you!

Hey, everyone! I am so excited. I just joined Stampin Up as a demonstrator. I have always loved their products and thought this would be a really fun way to both get new product and be able to share what I learn with others. I joined just in time...there's a brand new catalog coming out June 1st...yay! I get to preorder some of the new stuff from the catalog tomorrow, and when it comes in, I will show you all my new goodies! I have a video link down below that shows what came in my demonstrator kit!
I just need to work out a couple of the kinks, like how to post the links onto my site for orders and all the new information, etc. So please join me in this fun new endeavor. If you have any questions, just let me know, and I will answer them the best I can!
Can you believe it? My video finally uploaded! Now, I know it's a little long, but really?! It took me almost two full days for this little puppy to upload to YouTube. Whew!
So enough rambling. This is the video tutorial that shows you how to put together the Handbag template from My Time Made Easy.
I hope you enjoy it, and if you have any questions, just leave me a comment and I will try to answer it.
So this is the last post for the April release...so sad, because it was such a fun release...but never fear, My Time Made Easy has released so many wonderful things this month, I just couldn't help myself. I made a couple of extra projects that I will post throughout the next couple of weeks! Yay!
Isn't this the sweetest package to give to a girlfriend who loves shopping? You know who I mean, Gloria! I love the size of this. It is approximately 10 1/2 inches tall, which is perfect for Bath & Body Works and a whole host of other gifts!
I used the Handbag template with the Romance digital paper pack and the brand new Purse Patterns paper...a must have, don't you think? I added a couple of flowers and lace to the pockets and some Stickles to the buckle.
And just to give it the purse flavor, I added a silver twine ribbon with a key and lock charm...love! I was also very lucky to have a couple of Basic Gray brads that matched perfectly with the paper...lucky!
And for those of you who want to make this bag along with me, I have made a video tutorial showing you how to put this together...it's a piece of cake, I tell you!
It is downloading now, so it won't be up until later this afternoon.
I hope you enjoyed this, and please don't forget to give some love and get some inspiration from the other girls!
I just love the name of my project I have for you today...Sexy Soles! Isn't that a great name?!
I have a special post today. Not only did I take pictures to post of this fantastic template, but I have include a video tutorial for you! Yay!
How cute is this design? I mean really...I have a severe shoe fetish and this was right up my alley!
Don't you love that buckle and lace. I love everything frilly...as you know, so you can imagine how much fun I had in decorating this pattern!
So here you have it. And as I said, I made a two-part video tutorial on how to put this shoe together. This is my very first video tutorial, so let me know what you think, and I hope you enjoy it!
You aren't finished yet...oh, yeah, more goodies to come if you stop by the other teamies blogs to see what they have done!
Today I wanted to share with you some things I made for the Mini Composition Book and Double Rosette swap over at Art & Sassy.
These are the three sets I made. We were supposed to make three neutral colors and three of our favorite color, which, of course, is pink!
Here are my two mini composition books. I'm sorry I didn't get better pictures, but I was on my way out the door to mail them out when I remembered I hadn't taken any pictures and they were already packaged. Aren't they cute? I really had fun doing them. I can't wait to make the larger ones for myself.
I made a little video explaining what I used and how I made them. This is my first video where I show my projects, so please be patient as I learn this process.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and leave me a comment with any suggestions you have! Have a great day!
